if global warming wipes out polar bears it's not a big deal. The planet historically has been much hotter than it is today. It's only in the last 50 million years that the planet's been cool enough to have polar ice caps. Now there have been a couple of times when the entire planet has been covered in ice but it is then followed by periods when it is so hot that there is lush forests growing all over the entire planet with no ice. So the polar bear has only been around for 50 million years maximum. Dinosaurs lasted for several hundred million years, nobody's crying about them. And by the way, polar bears are incredibly violent dangerous carnivores. They kill and eat stuff with such ferocity that you don't want to be anywhere near one. And they hunt humans. Most bears don't specifically hunt down humans, but polar bears will. Historically the Earth has been much hotter than it is now, so let's not get all upset about a little global warming. Get back in your car and step on it.
